Brenteverett Brent Corrigan
Hola! The week is over and a new electronic reporting and barbecue internett delights awaits you ... strength, put on your bib ...
"MOTHER ONLY FLY FOR YOU MY KNIFE ..."
A lot of dust was raised by the recent "scandal" caused by a kind of parody of Erika, the Lizzie Borden of Novi Ligure, included in this month's issue of Alan Ford : most of the newspapers calling for the scandal, many readers and readers are horrified, Max Bunker / Luciano Secchi appeals to the freedom of satire and almost already talking about comics with the public burning of the TNT Group! Mah!? Certainly something we've already seen! Who knows where the real bad taste? The Republic On-Line, to clarify things to those who missed the event, pointing his big toe in an article (or dele-term average, according to me) exhibition in a gallery a targeted selection of cartoons offending . Have a good inquisition!
ALEKSANDAR Zograf, "interview with" E "INTERVIEW"
Two sites Italians speak of Sasa Rakezic / Zograf Aleksandar, Serbian cartoonist extraordinaire and observer of dreams. Clorofilla.it offers a brief interview where our answers to questions about the NATO bombing in Serbia, the true magic of the comic, on Crumb and his future projects. The site houses a stimulating Granbaol.org interview Zograf Mack White, author of Texas strongly inspired by the unusual mix of cowboys, conspiracies, aliens, greek mythology, Roman and dreams.
"BEE" NICE, MR. LITTLE!
Bee is usually a member of the so-called Generation X (or Y may now already), and disenchanted curious girl who lives the loop of a playful post-adolescence roam in the neighborhood of Manhattan and working in a photo lab where he sneaks the negatives that the curious more (almost like in that video-clip of scrausi Offsprings, but I do not remember the title of the song). The Bee's daily adventures, always marked by photographic fragments of other people's lives that lead to investigation of noir mysteries in the Big Apple, are recounted in a homonymous strip on-line color created by Jason Little, a young cartoonist (born in 1970 ) with a penchant for some graphic experiments stereoscopic some time ago had already made out for the good comic book Jack's Luck Runs Out published by Top Shelf Productions . Well, so do read the comix that the radiators on a computer monitor is not comfortable ... still try to force yourself and peek into the rather nice site Beekeeper Cartoon Amusements ... or at least wait until the collection volume for the publisher Doubleday due next autumn.
My children ... hours away! Some friends, two pretzels and pretzel anthropomorphic and mustached Alsatian , waiting for me for a crazy dance to the tune of Midi Twist and Shout! See you in a week! Bau Bye!
your human pretzel,
Henry Senor Tonto
