SUPERCARNERA IN COMICS!
important exhibition in Pordenone from March 23 to April 14
PORDENONE A great opportunity to enter the world of comics with the 2nd edition of VIVA COMICS developed around the exhibition "SUPERCARNERA. Toffolo Davide tells the legend of Primo Carnera."
On display will be exhibited at the 120 tables that make up the comic book "Carnera the walking mountain", published by Image Library, awarded by The Wild Bunch as the best comic book of the year.
addition to the designs of David the Toffolo exhibition presents a glimpse of the thirties with photographs, newspapers, documents Florian (the Venetian clown who, legend has it used its numbers in the huge shoes of GIANT Sequals), the stars Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks and Charlie Chaplin, American friends of the boxer, the invention of television (Primo Carnera was with the Pope, the first star appeared on television!) And objects belonging to the boxer, like shoes and cycling, both of surprising sizes.
The exhibition also features images of comic book heroes that the sample has directly or indirectly inspired: SUPERMAN by Dick lightning, Colossus Maciste in order to understand the impact that has had a leading figure in the collective imagination of the past century.
inauguration, Saturday, March 23 in the former convent of San Francesco in Pordenone 18:00 Davide Toffolo will present the artist and the natural heir of the boxer, the champion Paul SUPERMASSIMI Vidoz, International Champion consecrated as Carnera, the RING Americans.
The exhibition will run until April 14.
